Ruth Smalley

Ruth Smalley is an experienced content manager currently working at SGInnovate since November 2022. Previously, Ruth served as a content producer at the Alliance to End Plastic Waste from June 2021 to November 2022 and worked as a journalist at Channel NewsAsia from July 2017 to May 2021, focusing on documentaries and podcasts addressing migrant worker issues, healthcare, challenges faced by lower-income groups, and food waste. Earlier experience includes an internship at Infocus Asia Pte Ltd as an associate producer for a National Geographic series, a role as a social media content manager at Tech360.tv, and an internship at Gone Adventurin, where Ruth collaborated on an environmental awareness campaign with the National Environment Agency. Ruth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, obtained in 2017.
