Violette Chng

Violette Chng has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Violette is currently working as the Human Resources Director at SGInnovate, starting from October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Director, Asia at Ultra Clean Technology from June 2020 to September 2022. From October 2018 to May 2020, Violette worked as the HR BP Manager at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. Before that, they held the position of HR Manager at Farrer Park Hospital from September 2014 to June 2018, where they were responsible as an HR Business Partner for various divisions, covering areas such as compensation and benefits, performance management, internal communications, training, HR projects, recruitment, and employee matters. Earlier in their career, Violette worked as the Head of Youth Lab at Young NTUC in the National Trades Union Congress from January 2014 to August 2014. Violette began their HR career at Infineon Technologies, where they worked as a Manager in HR from May 2005 to December 2013.

Violette Chng completed a degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering from Nanyang Technological University from 1997 to 2001. In 2010, they attended the Institute of Adult Learning to study ACTA. Violette also obtained additional certifications, including being a Certified Everything DiSC Workplace® Facilitator from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand (expected in 2023) and completing a course in Inclusive Leadership from LinkedIn in 2020.
