Shimshon Horn

CEO at SGTech - Zero Carbon, Sustainable Farming

Shimshon Horn has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. From 2014 onwards, they have served as the CEO of SGTech, a global biogas and microbiome development company. In this position, they have focused on accelerating integrated biogas solutions and industrial wastewater management, while also leading the development of wastewater treatment, microbiology, and artificial intelligence technology solutions. Prior to this role, they worked as the General Manager at Horn - Financial Management from 2003 to 2013. Additionally, they served as the Division Chief Financial Officer at Comverse Technology, Inc. from 1999 to 2002.

Shimshon Horn earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bar-Ilan University, graduating in 1989. From 2002 to 2003, they attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in International Marketing and Strategy. In 2004 to 2005, Shimshon pursued further education at Bar-Ilan University, earning a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Law. Additionally, they attended Alumot Elementary school in Ramat Aviv, TLV, from 1968 to 1974 for their primary education.
