Alex Tow

Alex Tow has a strong background in technology and test management. They started their career as a Senior Test Analyst at AllianceSPEC Pte Ltd, where they managed a team and ensured the delivery of quality testing services. They then moved on to Revolution IT Services Pte Ltd, where they worked as a Senior Consultant and provided leadership in delivering testing and product implementation projects. At Pactera, they served as a Service Delivery Manager, overseeing all testing engagements and supporting the sales team with various project-related tasks. Alex later joined DBS Bank as a VP of Test Management & Automation, where they devised test models and practices, implemented test automation strategies, and managed user acceptance testing for cash management platforms. Currently, Alex is working at SGX Group as a VP of Technology.

Alex Tow has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Communications Technology from Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), which was obtained from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, Alex earned a Diploma with Merit in Information Technology (Computer Studies) from Ngee Ann Polytechnic between 2000 and 2003. Furthermore, Alex holds a Diploma in Investment from Singapore Human Resources Institute. In terms of additional certifications, Alex obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in October 2020. In 2016, Alex obtained the Scrum Master Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute™, and in 2012, obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. Finally, in 2011, Alex obtained the Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
