Carl Bachman Kharazmi

Carl Bachman Kharazmi is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud engineering and platforms, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Cloud & Platform Engineering at SGX Group since January 2025. Prior roles include Managing Director and Global Head of Cloud at Standard Chartered Bank, where contributions included engineering robust cloud platforms and transforming organizational structures, and Cloud Engineering Lead at Google, overseeing enterprise migrations to Google Cloud. Kharazmi has also held senior positions at DBS Bank, IBM, and Axis Communications, demonstrating a strong track record in cloud architecture, team leadership, and innovation across various industries. Kharazmi holds an MBA in Finance from the Rotterdam School of Management and a Master of Science in Mechatronics from Lund University.
