Hock Seng Tan

Hock Seng TAN, CPP/ BCCE has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the fields of workplace services, physical security, safety, and law enforcement. Hock Seng started their career with the Singapore Police Force as an Inspector of Police and later served as Deputy Head Operations, Deputy Superintendent of Police in Special Operations. In 2010, they joined the National University of Singapore as Deputy Director of Security for Campus Infrastructure. Currently, they work at SGX Group as the Head of Workplace Services and Physical Security, where they achieved ISO 45001|BIZSAFE* in OHS and leads the real estate, workplace services, safety, and security for global offices.

Hock Seng TAN, CPP/ BCCE, received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from the National University of Singapore in 1994. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Business Continuity Certified Expert from the Business Continuity Management Institute, Certified Protection Professional from ASIS International, and Certified Counterterrorism Practitioner from the CCTP Board, all in 2018. Hock Seng also completed the UK Metropolitan National Public Order Instructor Course from the Metropolitan Police in 2008 and holds other certifications in areas such as IT risk, governance, and security.
