Kay Kheng Jalen Tan has extensive work experience in finance and tax. From 2014 to the present, they have been working at SGX, starting as Senior Vice President Finance and later becoming the Head of Finance & Tax. In their roles, they have been responsible for overseeing financial reporting and control, finance operations, and statutory financial statements. Prior to joining SGX, Kay Kheng Jalen Tan worked at PwC from 2002 to 2014 as a Senior Manager. In this role, they led various large assurance engagements and handled challenging tasks such as assessing goodwill and reviewing cashflow models. Kay Kheng Jalen also played a key role in market transactions, working closely with lawyers, investment bankers, and valuation specialists. Additionally, they served as a Development Coach for junior staff and was a member of the Singapore Qualification Programme (SQP) Workgroup.
Kay Kheng Jalen Tan completed their 'A' Levels at Hwa Chong Junior College in 1996. Kay Kheng Jalen then pursued a Bachelor of Accountancy degree at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, graduating in 2002.
