Shanil Manwani

Shanil Manwani has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Shanil'smost recent role is as a Vice President of Global Sales & Origination at SGX Group, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, from June 2021 to March 2023, they worked at KPMG India in the area of Corporate Treasury Risk Management.

Before joining KPMG, Shanil was self-employed as a Systematic Derivative Trader from January 2016 to May 2021. Shanil also worked at EY as a Manager- IIC from September 2015 to February 2016.

Shanil's earlier work experiences include roles at Kotak Commodity Services Limited, where they served as an Associate Vice President, and at Interactive Brokers, where they worked as a Sales Representative. Shanil also worked at KIFS SECURITIES LTD as a Systematic Trader Strategist, at Ocean View Capital as a High-Frequency Algorithmic Trader, at the City of Chicago as a Business Analyst, and at Smith Barney as a Finance Associate.

Throughout their career, Shanil has gained expertise in areas such as global sales, origination, corporate treasury risk management, systematic derivative trading, algorithmic trading, structured products, and risk analysis.

Shanil Manwani has a Master of Science degree in Finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai and Thadomal Shahani College of Engineering from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Persuasive Selling from LinkedIn in 2022.
