Ron Sheldon

Ron Sheldon is the Senior Vice President of Technical Services at SH Hotels & Resorts. Ron has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including positions at Discovery Land Company, DiamondRock Hospitality, and WeWork.

Ron began their career in 1995 with Discovery Land Company. Ron held various positions there over the next 27 years, eventually becoming Vice President of Development. In this role, they oversaw the development of luxury residential private club communities and resorts across the United States and Canada.

In 2020, Ron left Discovery Land Company to become the Owner's Representative at DiamondRock Hospitality. In this position, they were responsible for representing the interests of ownership in all aspects of hotel operations.

Ron left DiamondRock Hospitality in 2021 to join SH Hotels & Resorts as Senior Vice President of Technical Services. In this role, they are responsible for leading and managing all technical services for the company's portfolio of hotels.

They work with Denise Walker - Chief Information Officer, Reena Chung - Chief Commercial Officer, and Matt Erickson - President, Food & Beverage. Ron Sheldon reports to Raul Leal, CEO.
