Roderick was involved in consulting and dressing important government officials. Roderick continued their career at 355 Toyota as a Sales Associate from 1995 to 1998.

In 2005, Roderick joined the United States Army and served as an Operations Sergeant/Bn Intelligence Sergeant until 2006. Roderick then joined the United States Army Asymmetric Warfare Group, where they held several positions, including Platoon Sergeant, Assistant Inspector General, and Senior Intelligence Sergeant. As the Senior Intelligence Sergeant, Roderick managed personnel and information security and provided intelligence estimates to support combat operations.
