Jessie Collett has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Jessie started their career as a Publishing Intern at Michael O'Mara Books Limited in 2017, followed by a brief internship at Little, Brown Book Group as a Rights Intern. In 2018, they interned at Head of Zeus and later joined Pluto Press as a Sales Communications Intern before becoming a Sales Communications Assistant. Since 2020, they have been working at SH:24, initially as a Customer Ambassador and currently as a Customer Care Manager.

Jessie Collett attended the University of Warwick from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Comparative Literary Studies. In 2016 to 2017, they participated in an Erasmus program at Freie Universität Berlin, focusing on English Literature, Cultural Studies, and Politics.
