Renee Kao

Renee Kao is a graphic designer and visualist with extensive experience in the music industry. Currently at SMUGGLER since August 2023, Renee conducts image research and develops visual representations to communicate creative concepts using Adobe tools. As a freelance graphic designer for Universal Music Group, original designs for artist merchandise are created while managing multiple projects. In the role of lead graphic designer at Shabang Music Productions, Renee successfully led graphic efforts for a large music festival, enhancing brand identity and increasing ticket sales. Previous positions include graphic designer at The Grand Distro and creative intern at Red Light Management, with a foundational education in graphic design from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
