Mehul Katpara

Mehul Katpara has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Mehul is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Shabodi since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at TD as a Full-stack Developer from September 2020 to December 2021, where they were involved in the development of the "TD Merchant Insight" project using Java, Spring Boot, and AngularJs.

Before TD, Mehul worked at RBC as a Java Developer from June 2019 to January 2020. Mehul contributed to the integration between RBC Loyalty and Sony Entertainment Systems, allowing RBC customers to redeem their loyalty points to buy/stream movies. Mehul used various technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, NodeJs, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, SQL Server, CloudFoudry, Apigee Gateway, and Selenium.

Prior to RBC, Mehul gained experience as a System Engineer at Spxtrm Health Inc, a Toronto-based startup, from January 2017 to May 2019. Mehul developed an ERP solution for the company, focusing on health care for people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and the elderly residing in long-term care.

Earlier in their career, Mehul worked as a Web Developer at KPDI from March 2014 to January 2017. Mehul provided IT consulting services to clients, developed, and maintained web systems. Mehul also worked as a Magento developer at Demac Media from July 2013 to December 2013, where they built and managed E-commerce websites using Magento, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and various databases and servers.

Mehul Katpara completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Gujarat Technological University from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued an Associate's degree in Computer Programming from Sheridan Institute of Advanced Learning from 2012 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Mehul obtained certifications as a Computer Programmer from Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advance Learning in December 2013, and as a Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Technology from Gujarat Technological University in April 2012.
