Shad Canada
Elissa Gelleny currently serves as the Director of Digital Programs at Shad Canada, starting in February 2024. Previously, Elissa held positions at Holy Trinity School as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher and Technology Integration Specialist from August 2021 to March 2024. Prior experience includes a tenure at Villanova College from September 2007 to September 2021, where Elissa worked as a Senior Math, Science, & Technology Teacher. Elissa's educational background includes a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate/Senior Science and Technology Education from Memorial University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mount Allison University. Additionally, coursework was completed at Dalhousie University in Math and English.
Shad Canada
Shad is Canada’s premier live-in summer enrichment program for high-potential high school students focused on STEAM and entrepreneurship. Participants spend 27 days in July living at one of 19 host university campuses across Canada and engage in transformative, experiential learning.
