Shades Mountain Baptist Church
Caroline Carmichael, M.Div, currently serves as the Director of Youth & Christian Education at Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church since September 2022, while also counseling at Shades Mountain Baptist Church since September 2018. Prior experience includes a Graduate Student and Spiritual Formation Intern at Samford University from 2018 to 2022, and a writing internship with EPIC Media Partners in 2020. Caroline began a career in journalism with roles as a Staff Writer for The Clanton Advertiser and Shelby County Newspapers, Inc., along with experience as a yearbook section editor at Samford University. Caroline holds a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School and a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communication from Samford University, complemented by minors in Ministry & Missions and Human Development & Family Studies.
