Jonathon Younkman

Jonathon Younkman has a diverse work background spanning various industries. Jonathon currently holds the position of Vice President at Shadow Investigations Inc since October 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Business Development at the same company from August 2016 to October 2017.

In 2015, Jonathon worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at Ann Arbor SPARK. Before that, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer (Interim) at Scratch Golf Clubs from September 2014 to June 2015. Jonathon also served as the Director of Business Development at Scratch Golf Clubs from March 2014 to September 2014, where they were responsible for sales strategy development, brand awareness, business planning, and facilitating operational meetings.

Jonathon held the role of Director of Business Development at IPS Technology Services (MBE) from April 2013 to January 2014. Previously, they worked at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation from October 2011 to April 2013 as the Talent Strategies Manager - IT and Media in the Workforce Intelligence Network and as the MEGA Program Team Leader from October 2009 to October 2011.

Jonathon's earlier experience includes roles at Michigan State Senate, where they served as Legislative Director from January 2007 to October 2009 and Legislative Aide from April 2006 to December 2006. Jonathon also worked as a Funeral Director & Embalmer at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home in 2004 and as a Test Driver (Night Shift Supervisor) at MSX International from September 2003 to April 2004. Jonathon began their career as an Apprentice Funeral Director at Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home from November 2000 to March 2002.

Jonathon Younkman attended Delta College from 1995 to 2003, where they obtained an Associates of General Studies. In 1999, they earned a Diploma in Mortuary Science from Worsham College. Later, they obtained a Bachelors of General Studies in Management, Communication, and Political Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2006. Jonathon then pursued a Masters of Public Policy from the same institution, which they completed in 2008.
