Julie Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Julie began their career as a Debate and Forensics Coach at Ellinwood High School, where they worked with talented students and achieved numerous accomplishments. In 1999, they also started working at USD 355, initially teaching various courses and later focusing on English classes in the mornings and technology integration and staff development in the afternoons. After that, they joined Barton Community College as an Associate Professor until 2017. Julie's most recent role was at Seesaw Learning, where they contributed to the development of a student-driven digital portfolio platform. Overall, their work experience showcases their passion for education and their dedication to enhancing student learning through innovative approaches.
Julie Jacobs started their education at Hoisington High School from 1990 to 1994. Julie then pursued an Associate's Degree from Barton Community College from 1994 to 1996. Later, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Language/Literature from Sterling College, KS from 1996 to 1998. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in MATL K-12 Technology Integration from Nova Southeastern University from 2013 to 2014.
