Paula Avila Alvarez

Paula Avila Alvarez is a Sales Development Representative at Shadowbox, Inc., a company that provides innovative solutions for laboratory automation and data management. She has over 8 years of experience in the field of laboratory services, working with various instruments and technologies to ensure quality and accuracy of test results. Being a previous Shadowbox customer, Paula understand the many sides that can affect a client with inoperability. She has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, working with high-performing sales teams.

Paula holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, where she graduated with honors in 2018. She also was a collegiate athlete in swimming and golf where she took her teams to championships.

She started her career at Mayo Clinic Laboratories where she worked for four years and gained valuable skills in project management, data analysis, and quality control. She is proficient in various laboratory skills, such as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), ELISA, and Flow Cytometry. Also helped alongside the development of the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccination, and the Antigen test.

Paula is passionate about learning new things and staying updated on the latest trends and developments in the laboratory industry. She enjoys reading, traveling, and brewing her own beer in her spare time. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
