Sam Leatherberry

Sam Leatherberry serves as the General Manager and COO of Shady Hollow Country Club Co since August 2019. Prior to this role, an extensive tenure at ClubCorp from April 2005 to August 2019 included positions as General Manager, Director of Agronomy, Golf Course Superintendent, and Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Experience also includes the role of Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Boston Hills Country Club and 2nd Assistant Superintendent at Worthington Hills Country Club. Sam began a career in the industry through an internship at Mayfield Country Club. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Turfgrass Science from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Malone University.
