Romeo Candido is a versatile showrunner, composer, writer, director, and producer with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as the showrunner and composer for the CBC Gem series "TOPLINE," Romeo has a strong background in composing for projects such as "Wendy And Peter" at the Stratford Festival and writing for the Netflix series "Another Life." Previous roles include senior producer for CBC Arts, where Romeo led a team to oversee video content across multiple platforms, and producer at Bell Media, involved in diverse programming and brand integration. In addition to freelance endeavors since 2014, Romeo co-founded multiple creative ventures, including Prison Dancer Inc., known for its award-winning transmedia production, and The Digital Sweatshop, which focused on Filipino culture in storytelling.
