Lydia Clarkson

Lydia Clarkson is the current Head of Public Realm & Policy at Shaftesbury PLC. Lydia has over 20 years of experience in strategic management, program management, and contract management.

Lydia started their career in 1995 as a Contract Manager at Onyx Environmental Services where they managed 2 local authority street cleansing contracts with a combined business of £1 million. In 2000, they moved to Westminster City Council as an Area Programme Manager where they provided strategic area management of Soho and Covent Garden. During their time there, they were responsible for more than £10m of investment in the council's streets over 10 years. In 2016, Lydia joined Shaftesbury PLC as Head of Public Realm & Policy.

Lydia Clarkson graduated from Folkestone School for Girls before going on to study Environmental Management & Policy at Middlesex University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
