Ellis Pugh

Ellis Pugh is a qualified solicitor with extensive experience in the legal sector, currently advising clients in social housing, not-for-profit, and charity sectors at Shakespeare Martineau since September 2022. Previously, Ellis Pugh worked at Nottinghamshire County Council as an in-house solicitor in the Corporate and Environmental team, providing legal advice on various matters including corporate governance and education. At Geldards LLP, experience was gained in the Charities, Social Enterprise, and not-for-profit team, advising charity trustees on governance and regulatory issues, as well as engaging in corporate legal matters. Prior roles also include experience as a legal assistant in various firms, including debt recovery work and conveyancing. Ellis Pugh holds a Legal Practice Course from the University of Law Manchester and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law, Chester, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Durham University.
