James Myatt

James Myatt is a seasoned legal professional with over 36 years of experience specializing in financial and pension issues related to divorce and separation. Currently a partner at Shakespeare Martineau since January 2017, James serves as Under Sheriff of the County of City of Bristol since March 2001. Prior experience includes serving as Director and Head of Personal Legal Services at Gregg Latchams Limited from January 2017 to October 2022, and a Family Team Partner at Thrings from February 2014 to January 2017. Additionally, James led the Family and Private Client Division at Lyons Davidson Limited for more than three decades, starting in September 1980. James holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from UWIST Cardiff and attended Clifton College.
