Assistant To The Artistic Director at Shakespeare's Globe

Eli Court is an experienced arts and events professional currently serving as the Assistant to the Artistic Director at Shakespeare's Globe since August 2022. As the Founder and Host of UNFORMAL, an experimental writing event in Glasgow, Eli champions genre-bending and gender-bending expressions in spoken word. Involved with Disconnected Bodies as an Equality and Diversity Board advisor, Eli provides inclusivity consultation focusing on audience engagement in the arts. Previous roles include Studio Manager at O Street, overseeing administration and event production, and Research and Development at Creative Nation Limited, addressing accessibility in the creative landscape. Eli also gained extensive event planning experience as an Intern at CareerCentral and has held leadership positions within the UEA Students' Union and LGBT+ Campaign Liberation Society. Eli earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of East Anglia, enhancing a solid foundation in the arts.
