Chantre' Smith

Chantre' Smith is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public relations and communications across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community since January 2020, Chantre' has previously held roles such as Communications Specialist with the same organization, Employee Communications Specialist for the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, and Senior Communications Specialist at Oneida Nation Legislative Affairs. Additional experience includes teaching assistance, internships in public/media relations, and community relations. Chantre' holds a Master of Science in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from St. Norbert College.
