Clayton Ellis

Clayton Ellis is an experienced educational leader and real estate professional, currently serving as Principal at Shakopee Public Schools since July 2022. Prior to this role, Clayton held the position of Associate Principal at Eden Prairie Schools and Dean of Students at Valley View Middle School and Indian Mounds Elementary. Clayton's teaching career began in 1999 at ISD #271 in Bloomington and includes a significant coaching role as Boys Head Varsity Coach for Track and Field at Bloomington Jefferson High School. In addition to an extensive background in education, Clayton has been a Real Estate Agent at Gene Bassett Realty since 2010 and previously with Coldwell Banker Real Estate. Education credentials include a Master's in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, complemented by a Bachelor of Applied Science in K-6 education and High School Coaching from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
