Akbar Ashraf has extensive experience in information technology leadership, currently serving as CIO at Shalamar Hospital since January 2009, where responsibilities include heading IT departments at the group level. Prior roles include Development Manager at IT24 LLC and Development Manager at IT24 (Pvt) Ltd, along with GM IT at US Apparel & Textiles, and Consultant at CSI. Akbar's career in software development began at Expert Systems (Pvt) Limited, where Development Manager duties focused on leading software projects. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Management from Virtual University of Pakistan, a certificate in Oracle Fundamentals from Oracle University, an MCS in Computer Sciences from The National College, and a B.Sc. in Physics & Maths from Islamia College, Lahore.
