Richard Taylor

Richard Taylor currently serves as Chief Development Officer at Shamal Holding, a position held since September 2024. Previously, Taylor was the Chief Projects Officer at Modon from June 2022 to September 2024, and held the role of Chief Development Officer & Advisory Head at Park Developments between October 2021 and June 2022. Prior to that, Taylor worked at Dubai Holding as SVP - Strategic Development, overseeing key projects such as Dubai Harbour and Ain Dubai. Taylor's extensive experience also includes significant roles at Meraas, where responsibilities included leading the New Projects & Developments team. Earlier work experience encompasses various positions in quantity surveying and business development, including roles at Trafalgar Technical Services Ltd and Hobson Hague Consultancy. Richard Taylor holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Sheffield Hallam University (1999-2004).
