Carl Prater

Carl Prater is an accomplished graphic designer with extensive experience in both print and digital media. Currently serving as a graphic designer at Alfred A. Knopf and Random House Children's Books since 2021, Prater specializes in developing creative marketing materials for various publications. With a background that includes significant roles at Shambhala Publications and Champlain College, Prater has a strong focus on marketing and informational materials. Past experience includes a senior designer position at Penguin Random House, where full-page layouts were designed for prestigious publications. Additional creative leadership was demonstrated as the creative director at Broadway Motion Design. Prater's education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Iowa State University.
