Karissa Kloss

Karissa Kloss has extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as Senior Production Manager at Shambhala Publications since May 2004, with a progression through various production roles including Production Manager, Production Coordinator, Production Assistant, and Production Intern. Additionally, Karissa contributed to the Bookbuilders of Boston Education Fund as a Member of the Board of Directors from September 2014 to June 2015, and was involved with Bookbuilders of Boston in multiple capacities, including as a Dwiggins Selection Committee Member and co-chair of the Education Committee. Early experience includes an internship at Literary Magazine Review from January 2002 to May 2003. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
