Kate Huber-Parker

Kate Huber-Parker is an accomplished book designer and production editor with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as a Book Designer and Production Designer at Shambhala Publications since September 2018, Kate previously held the position of Production Assistant at University Press of New England / ForeEdge, where responsibilities included managing freelance design projects and preparing digital and print files. Prior experience includes work as a Production Editor at Ictus Initiative, focusing on content development and client relations. In earlier roles, Kate honed leadership and communication skills as a Lead Swim Instructor at South Shore YMCA and gained organizational experience as a clerical intern at Trine and Metcalf Law Firm. Kate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College, completed in 2013.
