Maya van der Meer

Maya van der Meer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in web design, strategic marketing, and education. Currently serving as a Web Design & Strategic Marketing Specialist at Bard College since August 2010, Maya is also recognized as an award-winning author at Shambhala Publications since January 2019. Additional roles include being a member of the advisory board for Geni LLC since February 2022 and co-founding The CarbonDrawn Initiative (CDI) from January 2020 to February 2023. Previous experience encompasses educational roles at Middle Way School and multimedia direction at Pulse of the Planet, along with consulting and web development for Khyentse Foundation. Maya's educational background includes degrees in Psychology and Religious Studies from Penn State University, as well as various diplomas in design, writing, and multimedia management from multiple institutions.
