Gilad Markman

Gilad Markman is an experienced professional in the optical and semiconductor industries, currently serving as the Head of Coating Technology for the American Market at Shamir Insight since September 2019. In this role, Gilad established concepts and methodologies for technology service and remote process maintenance. Previously, Gilad held the position of Coating Engineer Specialist at Shamir Insight, where product development and remote support methodologies were a focus. Prior experience includes serving as an Optical Coating Development Engineer at Shamir Optical Industries and various engineering roles at TowerJazz, including Epitaxial Silicon Deposition Engineer and Diffusion Process Engineer. Gilad's educational background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
