Zarek Woodfork, MA has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Zarek began their career as a Store Manager at General Nutrition Center in 2003 before moving on to become a Sales Manager at 24 Hour Fitness. In 2006, they became a Store Manager at Sprint, and later that year joined the Concord Police Department as a Police Officer on the Special Enforcement Team (S.E.T.). Zarek served in this role until 2012 when they were medically retired.
Following their retirement, Zarek worked briefly in business development at Service Champions Northern California in 2011. Zarek then transitioned to the City of Oakland where they served as a member of the Budget Advisory Committee from 2014 to 2015. During this time, Zarek also joined the Board of Directors at Harbor House Ministries, a nonprofit organization offering after-school programs to youth in Oakland.
In 2016, Zarek joined Shamrock Office Solutions as the Business Development Area Manager. Zarek later advanced to the position of Director of Sales in December 2016. Most recently, Zarek has volunteered as a Business Development Career Advisor at Launch Your Career starting in 2020.

Zarek Woodfork, MA, completed their education at various institutions. Zarek earned a Masters of Arts degree in Leadership and Organizational Change from Saint Mary's College of California between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Leadership & Organizational Studies from the same institution from 2014 to 2016. Zarek also attended the Maine Maritime Academy from 2001 to 2003, majoring in Marine Engineering Technology. Zarek began their educational journey at the California State University Maritime Academy from 1998 to 2000, also majoring in Marine Engineering Technology.
