Sara Northern (Mikkelsen), MSF has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

Sara began their career as a Flex Cosmetics Associate at Macy's in 2011. Sara then joined Parfums Christian Dior as a Makeup Artist from 2012 to 2014. Following this, Sara worked at SEPHORA as a Makeup Artist from 2014 to 2017.

In 2015, they joined FCI Advisors and held multiple roles during their tenure. Sara started as an Administrative Assistant from 2015 to 2016, followed by a role as a Wealth Planning Graduate Intern from 2016 to 2017. Sara completed their Master's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General from the same university in 2016. Sara started their academic journey at Metropolitan Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Sara has also obtained several certifications to expand their skillset. Sara received a SQL Developer Certificate from Johnson County Community College in November 2019. Furthermore, they obtained a Custom Makeup Certification from SEPHORA in March 2014.
