Terry Owens

Terry Owens, CPP, currently serves as the Director of Security at Shamrock Trading Corporation, where responsibilities include standardizing the access control platform and overseeing safety for 10 locations across 7 states since May 2022. Prior to this role, Terry was a Police Coordinator for Marriott International's Loss Prevention, where effective cost/benefit analyses were utilized to allocate personnel and strategize security for NFL team overnight stays from 2017 to May 2022. Terry's extensive law enforcement background includes serving as a Sergeant at the Kansas City Missouri Police Department, training and mentoring officers, and managing high-profile cases in the Violent Crimes Division. Early career experience includes serving as a Loss Prevention Supervisor at JCPenney, where data analysis led to a significant reduction in shrinkage. Terry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas Grantham.
