Dumi Mabhena

Dumi Mabhena is a co-founder of Shanda, a podcast platform launched in 2023, and is currently an MBA graduate student at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, with an anticipated graduation in 2024. Recognized with multiple awards, including the Poets & Quants 100 Best & Brightest MBAs and the Student Entrepreneur of the Year 2024, Dumi has actively engaged in various leadership roles, notably as a co-founder and co-president of the Georgetown Africa Business Alliance and as a podcast host for both African Voices and Zimbabwean Voices. Dumi's prior experience also includes key roles in sales and operations for Empowered Homes and Elimu Student Housing, alongside a solid foundation in real estate and business development demonstrated through previous positions at Propertuity Development and Brite Care, which was founded in Zimbabwe.
