Arnab C.

Arnab C. is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Shanghai University since February 2021 and serves as an Assistant Editor for the Medical History journal at Cambridge University Press since June 2019. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the University of York from May 2020 to October 2020 and a PhD candidacy at the same institution from October 2015 to March 2020, where Arnab C. conducted Wellcome Trust funded research on 'Medical Transformation in Madras Presidency: Military and Civilian Perspectives (1890-1940)' and participated in the WHO Collaborating Centre for Global Health Histories. Additional experience includes a Research Associate role at Delhi University in 2015 and a Research Associate position at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from June 2012 to March 2015, working on projects related to community development and medical ethics in South India. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History of Medicine from the University of York, a Master’s Degree in Modern History from Jadavpur University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern History also from Jadavpur University.
