Giles Leonard

Giles Leonard is an experienced professional in the hospitality and recreation industry, currently serving as the Director of Sports & Recreation at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts since July 2012. Prior roles include Director of Operations at Thanyapura Sports & Leisure Club and Director of Recreation at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Sports Manager at The Empire Hotel & Country Club and Resort Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. With a strong foundation in recreation management, Giles started as a Recreation Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group and PT Bintan Lagoon Resort, and began the career as a Senior Health Counsellor and Assistant Resort Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Giles holds a BSc (Hons) in Business & Sport from the University of Roehampton, alongside A' Levels and GCSEs from Bishop Vesey's Grammar School.
