Laura Baker

Laura Baker is an accomplished professional in corporate communications and marketing with extensive experience in the hospitality sector. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications for Shangri-La Group in Europe since August 2022, Laura's previous roles include Director of Sales and Marketing at Pan Pacific Perth and Senior Manager of Corporate Communications for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. Laura has also held key positions at InterContinental Hotels Group, Capital MSL, Saudi Aramco, and Emirates Airline, demonstrating a strong ability to develop and execute effective communication strategies across multiple regions, including India, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Laura holds a Master's Degree in Marketing from Deakin University and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with a double major in Public Relations and Tourism Management from Sacred Heart College.
