Derek Green

Derek Green has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Derek began their career in 1993 as a Manager in the Air Defence Artillery department at the Department of National Defence. Derek then worked at Medavie Blue Cross, starting in 1996 as a Team Leader in Provider Audit and later becoming the Manager of Provider Relations from 1999 to 2001. In 2002, they joined Medavie Blue Cross again, this time as a Project Manager for Federal Programs, leading a large multifaceted project team. Derek then became the Operations Delivery Director for Federal Administered Programs, overseeing multiple Federal Contact Centres and Health Claims processing units. In 2005, they took on the role of Director for Federal Administered Programs, directing the strategic plan and operational delivery components of the division. Derek also served as the Director for Federal Programs and Member Experience from 2018 to 2018. Finally, in 2018, Derek joined Shannex Incorporated as the VP of NB Operations.

Derek Green began their education journey in 1988 at the College Militaire Royal (CMR) - Saint Jean, PQ, where they pursued a Diploma in Business Administration. Derek completed this program in 1990. At the same time, in 1988, they also embarked on their Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree at the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada, specializing in Marketing. Derek successfully completed this program in 1993.
