Jim Bailey is Shannon & Wilson's National Well Services Director and a corporate lead on groundwater supply initiatives in all the company’s offices across the country, Jim Bailey draws from more than three decades of experience in water supply development and groundwater management. His water resource work focuses on municipal water supply, including water rights, well design/construction, and well performance evaluation. He has extensive experience coordinating and supervising well drillers, designing drilling programs, selecting and overseeing analytical services, and controlling costs. He has extensive experience evaluating and addressing well performance issues, identifying operational issues that impact well aging, and developing rehabilitation approaches that optimize the opportunity to regain lost well capacity. Since 2000, he has worked on more than 1,000 wells across the U.S. and Canada. He is a nationally recognized expert in the field of good design, construction, and rehabilitation, and a frequent speaker at workshops on good performance across North America.
