Senior Manager, Healthy Schools at SHAPE America

Audra Walters, MSHS, CHES®, currently serves as the Senior Manager for Healthy Schools at SHAPE America, where responsibilities include directing the cooperative agreement funding from the CDC to enhance health and wellness in school-age children. With extensive experience in public health and education, Audra previously held key roles such as Director of Coordinated School Health at the Arkansas Department of Education, where resource development and training for schools were prioritized, and Professional Education Coordinator at Arkansas Children's Hospital, focusing on injury prevention education. Audra's foundational work began through various roles in health education and community support, including AmeriCorps VISTA leadership. Audra holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Health Science and Exercise Science, respectively.
