Olavo Sampaio is a Data Scientist with extensive experience in predictive maintenance solutions for heavy industry at Shape since December 2021. Previously, Sampaio worked as a Junior Data Scientist and Backend Developer at Impacta LawTech, focusing on classifier systems for legal document classification. Additional backend development experience includes Sling Hub, where responsibilities spanned feature planning and data collection for a business intelligence platform. Academic research roles at Laboratório de Processamento Analógico e Digital de Sinais and as an Undergraduate Researcher centered on image recognition and dataset construction. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
