Jeff Owen is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in the automation and robotics industry. Currently serving as the Mechanical Engineering Group Leader at Tech-Con Automation since November 2011, Jeff specializes in robotic material handling. Prior to this role, Jeff was a Senior Mechanical Designer at NuTech Engineering from 2008 to October 2011, where projects included robotic MIG, TIG, and laser welding cells, and contributed to a project that received the 2011 Motoman Innovation Award. Jeff also worked as a Senior Mechanical Designer at Flow Automation from January 1994 to July 2008, focusing on assembly automation and robotic waterjet cutting and slitting. Jeff holds a degree from Mohawk College, completed between 1991 and 1994.
