Dan Zimmerman

Dan Zimmerman is the Director of Engineering for Shapiro & Duncan, Inc. His responsibilities include supporting design-build project pursuits, strategic planning, process development and overseeing the daily operations of the Engineering Department. Dan works closely with all facets of the company to drive collaboration, innovation, design and construction excellence with a commitment to schedule and budget. Dan joined the company as a student intern in 2005 while attending Montgomery College. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2008. He maintains membership and participation with local chapters of ASHRAE, ASPE and DBIA. Dan also holds professional licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia.
