Kurt Maahs

Kurt Maahs is an accomplished trial attorney with extensive experience in personal injury law. Currently serving as a Trial Attorney at David Shapiro Law, PLLC since November 2021, Kurt Maahs specializes in litigating personal injury cases to secure justice for clients. In addition, Kurt is the owner of Maahs Law Firm, PLLC, established in January 2020. Prior to these roles, Kurt held significant positions, including Managing Attorney at Sweet James LLP's Arizona office, and Assistant Managing Attorney at Phillips Law Group, P.C., where focus areas included representing individuals injured in various accident scenarios and pursuing bad faith claims against insurance companies. Kurt's earlier career included roles in litigation with O'Connor and Campbell, P.C., as well as experience as an Assistant City Attorney and Assistant County Attorney. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
