Hauwa Okorie

Hauwa Okorie is currently working as a Product Manager at Shara, focusing on developing innovative payments and credit products for small businesses in Nigeria and Kenya. Previously, they held roles at various organizations such as Mercy Corps AgriFin as a Program Engagement Consultant, Busara Center for Behavioral Economics as a Senior Associate, GSMA as a Consultant, and Women's World Banking as a Research Consultant. Hauwa has a Master's Degree in Public Health-Epidemiology/Biostatistics from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from the same university. They also attended Brooks School for high school.
