Shyam Kapur

Shyam Kapur has accumulated over 45 years of leadership experience at Sharaf Group, serving as President and CEO since August 1980, overseeing a growth from a small team of 10 to over 9,000 employees. Previously, Shyam held the position of Vice President, where responsibilities included heading business operations and strategic planning. Prior to joining Sharaf Group, Shyam worked in audit and cost control at Gabriel India Limited from August 1976 to February 1979. Shyam is a Chartered Accountant, having received a degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1973 and 1976, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, where studies were completed from 1969 to 1973.
