Vanitha Rangarajan is the dedicated chairperson of Saranalayam, a compassionate organization. Saranalayam began with her brave decision to provide a loving home to seven children, including a child with cerebral palsy, despite discouragement from doctors. Over the years, Vanitha's commitment has grown, and Saranalayam now supports over 50 children, many of whom come from challenging backgrounds like sex workers, beggars, and abandoned families. Vanitha's hands-on involvement includes personally caring for the children and securing a new location, Saranalayam Dhaya, with the help of generous donors. Her mission extends to offering shelter and support to mentally ill individuals abandoned by their families. With dedication and unwavering support from donors and the community, Vanitha's Saranalayam has provided hope, education, and a brighter future for countless children, proving that sincere efforts can bring positive change over time.
